PERSONAL DELIVERY PROGRAM
The Personal Delivery Program (PDP) is designed to assist those customers who wish to maximize their enjoyment of owning and driving VirtualGT without the setup time and learning curve associated with handling this on their own. The program offers three basic services, on site:
- Assembly and Setup
- Operating Instruction
- Driving Instruction
ASSEMBLY AND SETUP
While VirtualGT is not complicated to assemble and setup, some buyers may not have the time or interest to deal with this and prefer professional help to ensure the proper installation into their home or office. If you select this option, our factory trained Personal Support Representative (PSR) will contact you about a week before your car is scheduled for shipment.
At this time, a compatible timetable for delivery will be arranged, based on PSR's availability and your schedule. Once a 2-day appointment can be confirmed, Virtual-E will make sure your VirtualGT simulators arrive at the designated installation location at least three days before the PSR arrives.
Since we use BAX Global Door-to-Door Lift-Gate service, you only need to arrange for a ground floor, dry, lighted, and secure storage place where the (3) crates (per car) can be dropped off and left for a few days. The chassis and component parts will be carried to the final installation location and final assembled there, so the drop location doesn't need actually support the assembly process, but just provide enough room and light to open the crates and remove the parts. The table below lists the size and weight of each crate.
You also need to arrange for someone to assist the PSR for a few minutes to carry the chassis to the installation location, especially if this location is on another level and stairs are involved. The weight of the Chassis at this point is about 75 lbs. so is easily handled by two male adults.
We will assume that any decor you have added to your VirtualGT Racing Center will have been done prior to the PSR's arrival, except if you have Race Deck Flooring. We will put that together for you before we start the VGT assembly. This will enable us to route the wiring that interconnect two cars together under this flooring.
OPERATING YOUR VIRTUALGT
Whenever flight schedules permit, the PSR will arrive on day one with enough time to assemble and setup the VGT car(s) before 5 PM, allowing the client to spend an hour with the PSR after dinner, becoming familiar with the basic operation of VirtualGT. After being providing with some brief driving hints, the client will then be left with the car to spend whatever time the client has available that first evening (good luck getting to bed!).
Based on the time a client has dedicated to training, the PSR will return then next morning, review operation, answer questions, and cover more details to the extent the client wishes to know more. At that time, and based upon previously selected Driver Training Packages, the PSR will spend the rest of day two on Racing Technique.
Various levels of Operation can be discussed and ordered. These are described below:
A Standard User will know fundamental operation of their VirtualGT, as well as how to adjust audio and vibration levels for maximum effect. They will be able to save and recall these effect levels using the digital memories. They will be able to operate and adjust the Intercom system and headphones. They will be able to access the nearly 40 cars and tracks that come in the factory programmed Memory Card. They will understand the Arcade Mode of the GT3 software and be able to readily select cars and tracks, make adjustments to car setup, understand the most important options, load and save a Ghost Lap, and use the Replay feature to watch their performance.
An Advanced user will add to the the above knowledge, the ability to Save their own Car/Track macros using the Game Setup Memories. They will be instructed on using the Simulation Software mode, advanced car setup, the Data Analysis feature of the software, and acquiring and modifying cars, then building then up to add major power and handling.
